Bint Jbeil Pool-Berka- is one of the most famous and largest ponds located in the Bint Jbeil area. It is based on 5,000 square meters and reaches a depth of more than 10,000 square meters. All the sewage carrying rainwater from the town drains into it. It was damaged several times by wars, including in the July 2006 war. It was restored in 1969, and in the nineties, the restoration of it was supported by the State of Qatar after the July War. Its walls were strengthened and its land leveled, and thick rubber was used between the walls and the ground to prevent water from seeping out. As for the amount allocated for the restoration of the pool, it is an amount of 450 thousand euros allocated for the restoration of the pool of Bint Jbeil.
